Bicycles

Our bicycles are slightly different than your average bike, they have 26 inch wheels which are heavy gauged spokes and fixed wheel gearing. The handlebars are short and the pedals are rubber. Add a chain, tyres and tubes to complete the bike, there are no other accessories, that's right, no brakes. With such a low gear players soon learn to stop by treading back.

Mallets

The Mallets we use are alot smaller then the one's used in Horse Polo. They vary in sizes to suit the player. The Sticks are made from bamboo cane with a wooden head. Mallets are available for all new players who wish to join the club.

Helmets

In Bicycle Polo safety comes first, that's why all players are obliged to wear helmets. We recommend a hurling helmet as it contains a face-guard. Helmets are available from the club for all new players. We also recommend that players wear shin-guards, a mallet to the shin can be painful!
